Returns Policy
Customer satisfaction is our top priority. We believe that every transaction must result in a pleasant, convenient and care-free shopping experience. If it is not, we are happy to offer a refund on the return of any product purchase within 31 days. Details of this policy are provided below. Return of Faulty Products Products that are faulty on arrival can be exchanged or refunded with coolthings.com.au, within 31 days. All products, unless otherwise noted, are sold with the full warranty of the manufacturer. The warranty period and service varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. Faulty on arrival products that are returned for a refund are refunded the full purchase price including delivery costs.
Return of Non-Faulty Products Products that are not faulty can be returned within 31 days of receipt. For an exchange or refund, the products must be returned in their original packaging with all parts and accessories. Products that have been sold on a "no return basis" cannot be returned. Non-Faulty products that are returned for a refund are refunded the full purchase price less delivery costs and bank fees.
Return of Software Unopened or defective software can be returned for replacement. However, non-defective opened software will not be accepted under any circumstances.
No Return Basis The term No Return Basis means that a returned product will not be accepted by coolthings.com.au unless the product is faulty within the warranties imposed by statute and which cannot be excluded by agreement. Products marked with the No Return Basis include: • Products marked "discontinued" or "obsolete"
Procedure for the return of Products All products to be returned, faulty or not, will require a Return Authorisation Number before they can be returned. To obtain a Return Authorisation Number, please contact CoolThings.com.au by email or by phone.
All products must be returned via Registered Australia Post Parcel service and must contain all original packaging and documentation. Fragile products returned must be packaged in shock absorbant bubble wrap, products returned by any other means will not be accepted by coolthings.com.au
coolthings.com.au reserves the right to deny replacement of goods that have been poorly packaged and that have missing parts or have physical signs of abuse.
Returns take approximately 7 days to process from the date of receipt of returned products (exceptions to this may occur from time to time). A re-stocking fee may also apply to the return of non-faulty products. Unless otherwise specified, the benefits conferred by warranties set out herein are additional to all other conditions, warranties, guarantees, rights and remedies expressed or implied by the Trade Practices Act.
