The Soundbug is a revolutionary portable device alternative to headphones or loudspeakers and connects to your personal stereo player, PC or laptop via the headphone socket. Simply attach the Soundbug to any hard, glossy surface and be amazed by its sound reproduction qualities.
Two soundbugs can even be connected in parallel for great stereo sound. How it all works:
The technology behind the Soundbug incorporates the use of a rare material called Terfenol-D, originally developed by the US military for underwater sonar applications. When stimulated by a magnetic field, Terfenol-D expands and contracts at a very high frequency. As this force sends vibrations to the attached surface, sound is created through a resonation process.

The Soundbug weighs approximately 180 grams and uses 3 x AAA batteries (supplied). It features a three-position switch: Off, Soft and Loud and can be used with any sound device that uses a 3.5mm jack (MP3 player, CD player, personal cassette stereo, minidisc player, PC, laptop etc). When connecting two Soundbug's in parallel for stereo sound, a stereo source is required.
