Be A HERO Australia has developed a unique relationship with an African art wholesaler, Eye on Africa. The profits from this item will go directly to Vana Childcare.
Eye on Africa imports African art from Zimbabwe and is owned and operated by a Sunshine Coast couple, Donna and Errol Spence and they have always looked for ways to sow part of the business profits back into the Zimbabwean community.
In 2005 Errol and Donna knew that there was more that needed to be done in Zimbabwe....they saw the poverty, the orphans, the HIV/Aids and this is when Vana (which means children in the Shona language) Childcare began.
Vana Childcare is a registered charity with a dream to help over 300 children in the little town of Chivhu, which is 14km south of Harare. Vana is building for the future... Vana would like to see the children of Zimbabwe loved, cared for, educated and raised up to be the future leaders of Zimbabwe.
